We are the Church that cannot be seen in one locality or under one roof. We are the church that is blanketing the city with home meetings, prayer, and worship.
Our people are interdenominational, rather than nondenominational, allowing all Christian faiths the liberty of finding acceptance and recognition without adapting to any one style or approach to worship. We are committed to relationships, the family, and the needs of the community and the world.
Rather than programs, property, and the traditional styles of formalized or institutionalized religion, we recognize biblical apostolic authority. We dont emphasize titles or labels, instead we honor servant ministry. Our people are encouraged to come to fellowship meetings with a song, psalm, or word from the Lord. We will provide a time of praise and worship, prayer, giving, and structured teaching.
Our meetings are casual and spirit-led, yet under the direction of the eldership. It is our desire to recognize and release gifts for ministry. Special attention is given to children and teens for effective discipleship and fellowship during Acts 13 meetings and/or at other special times. Once a month or quarterly, all the Acts 13 Fellowship groups will gather at one location for evangelistic celebrations of fellowship, worship and soul winning.
Leadership will be identified and released as is patterned in Acts 13 through the Holy Ghost separating (sending) them. Because of our financial structure, we will eventually be able to send (with monetary support), missionaries, Acts 13 group elders, soul winners, and others out for the work of the ministry.
We will expect of each other three goals of discipleship:
Seek to be sent
Seek to be soul winners
Seek to be in Gods order of life and ministry
We will have no private meetings, other than personal counseling under the appropriate conditions. All fellowship meetings, whether organizational, directional or business, will be open and public, and all groups will operate under the same guidelines as determined in those meetings. There will be no secret meetings or discussions of a negative nature. All plans and directions will be shared openly as the apostles and prophets feel led to speak and then the groups will judge. There will be no pressure or condemnation to force or coerce anyone to participate or support anything that is against their own conscience. We believe everyone hears from God for himself and that authority is only legitimate when it is received.
Our Acts 13 Fellowships are based on the truth and our love and loyalty to and for one another. We are committed to loving relationships and will not allow conflicts, problems or offenses to come between us.
If you feel led to become part of Acts 13 Fellowships, we will commit ourselves to a relationship with you based on honor, respect and loyalty toward one another and our families.
Acts 13 Fellowship will operate under the supervision of Integrity Christian Fellowship (ICF), both for IRS covering and apostolic covering. Finances will be handled by an appointed treasurer, who will provide a detailed monthly statement of income and distributions. All finances will be deposited, distributed and contained in the Acts 13 Fellowship account. It will be distributed as follows:
The Tithe-up principal - all tithe will go to the servant head at present Lee and Curtis.
From that account 10% of the total tithe will go to ICF, the apostolic covering.
*The remaining 90% will be divided equally as follows:
One-third to be divided evenly between the recognized priesthood.
One-third to be set aside for Missions (yearly mission trips), eventually supporting missionaries on a permanent basis.
One-third to be set aside for Ministry Organizational Fund Celebration and other local event expenses, evangelism, and office expenses of Acts 13 Fellowship groups.
*Any designated offerings, (gifts, alms, etc.), will be distributed as indicated. General offerings will be held in account for use as the group determines.
